English Conversation Teacher (GEPIK)
Doam Elementary School, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea
Taught English conversation classes for 200 elementary students from third to sixth grade. Supplemented
government’s English curriculum with examples and explanations of useful English. Utilized authentic
exercises to apply English to “real-life” situations. Developed exercises, games, and other creative
activities to encourage students to use English and increase their comfort with the language. Created a
safe and stimulating learning environment to promote confident English use. Communicated regularly
with homeroom teachers regarding student progress and lesson planning. Taught additional after-school
